The San Francisco experimental electronic musician Jonas Reinhardt is pioneering a new style of music called indietronica by combining elements of indie rock with electronica. By fusing samples and preprogrammed electronic compositions with live instrumentation and drumming, the band creates an original blend of music that gives a nod to futuristic noises as well as early pioneers of electronic music. Reinhardt dropped its debut album in 2008 and has made a name for himself around San Francisco with intense live shows that highlight the band's ability as performers.
