Salvatore Adamo

Salvatore Adamo is a pop and folk singer who was born in Sicily but moved to Belgium at a young age when his father found a job in the Belgian mining industry. Born in 1943, it was clear by the 1950s that Salvatore had an exceptional voice and an interest in singing. He participated in singing competitions and started as an opening act for other singers. In 1992 he released his first album entitled Rêveur de fond and has gone on to a very successful career.
