Lightning Dust

Formed as a side project to successful space-rock band Black Mountain, Lightning Dust came about when Amber Webber and Joshua Wells decided that they had too many melodies floating in their heads that didn't fit with their primary band. The result became a collection of minimalistic dark folk ballads filled with Webber's haunting vocals and Wells' eerie piano, a surprising but impressive departure from the work the duo did as Black Mountain. While the duo only tours occasionally under its Lightning Dust moniker, it's met with throngs of fans every time it does.
