Acid King is a stoner metal band from San Francisco that was formed in 1993 by frontwoman Lori S, drummer Joey Osbourne and bassist peter Lucas. The group released its self-titled debut album in 1994 and since then the group has managed to release LPs at a fairly regular rate. Having stayed active since its inception, Acid King has distinguished itself as a reliable act on the Bay Area metal scene.
