The Vasco Era

The Vasco Era is a blues rock band from Melbourne, Australia that managed to take home the top prize at the 2004 Australian National Campus Band Competition, which is considered to be the largest band competition in the southern hemisphere. Since then, the band has been working full-time recording, performing live and opening for major acts at venues and festivals throughout Australia and the world. The band's second album Oh We Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside proved to be a break-out critical success within Australia, ensuring that The Vasco Era's success internationally will be only a matter of time.
