Prof is a Minneapolis-based rapper and singer. With a style characterized by boastful raps full of sometimes immature or inane lyrics, Prof has gained a reputation of being a sort of "party rapper," in that he doesn't seem to take his craft all that seriously. And while the lackadaisical quality and claims of lyrical aloofness certainly aren't unfounded, Prof's music isn't quite as shallow as it might seem at first glance, and may just win over fans looking for some quirky alternative hip-hop.
