The John Butler Trio is one of the more celebrated alternative rock bands to emerge from Australia in the 1990s. The group is known for combining roots style tunes with modern jam band sensibilities to create an interesting blend of music that's easy to enjoy. The band is in true form during live shows, when each member's instrumental adeptness is on full display, and has thus been asked to perform at multiple iconic festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo and Glastonbury.
