Destiny Nicole Frasqueri is a hip-hop and R&B artist who goes by the name Princess Nokia. She began her career under the pseudonym Wavy Spice and released her first track "Destiny" in 2012. She followed up the single with "Bitch I'm Posh" and earned international attention for her distinctive alternative hip-hop style and ability to both sing and rap. She went on to release another song under the name Destiny while also releases music as her alter ego Princess Nokia. She debuted the persona with the 2014 track "Nokia," and established herself with a melting pot aesthetic that includes jazz, synth pop, hip-hop, and African beats.
