Nik West is a funk and soul bassist who has collaborated with a number of well-known musicians in addition to keeping an active solo career as band leader. Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, West released her debut album, Just in the Nik of Time, in 2011. Having since worked with a number of prominent musicians including John Mayer and Prince, West has distinguished herself as one of the more capable bassists of her generation.
