Olafur Arnadles is an Icelandic musician who specializes in creating songs that blend the oftentimes difficult to navigate world of classical music within the confines of an easy to like pop song format. With dense string and woodwind instrumentals set alongside electronic loops and production quirks, Arnalds music manages to speak to the inner character and ethos that is so quintessential of the Icelandic music scene. Releasing his debut album, Eulogy for Evolution, in 2007, Arnalds has become a well noted fixture from the Scandinavian music world with his evocative and quasi-spiritual music.
