Imagine you're relaxing on a sailboat in some tropical climate sipping a cold beer and enjoying the warm sun as it beats down upon you. If there's a musician to perfectly accompany your placid state it's undoubtedly the Gulf Coast raised Jimmy Buffett. The atypical yacht rocker has been making mellow songs that center around sailing, getting drunk and havin' a good time since the '70s, when he started bringing his rousing live act to numerous venues across the country. Though he's often associated with frat boys, now that his prime has passed, there are still dedicated followers of the musician, a swarthy bunch that are aptly referred to as Parrot Heads.
