Street Drum Corps is a punk rock percussion band that emerged out of Los Angeles in 2004. Composed of drummers Bobby Alt, Adam Alt and Frank Zummo, the ensemble dropped its self-titled debut album in 2006 and quickly found an audience among alternative and punk rock audiences with its chaotic sound. Using garbage cans, hand drums, buckets, kitchenware, recycled aluminum and various other found items in addition to traditional drum kits, Street Drum Corps continues to offer its raucous brand of music through live performances and records including the 2012 studio album, Children of the Drum.
