Sara Bareilles is a singer/songwriter and pianist from Eureka, California who, in just under a decade, has managed to go from singing at local clubs and bars in Northern California to becoming a national pop sensation. Upon the release of her first studio album Careful Confessions in 2004, Bareilles was almost immediately recognized for her talents in the pop music arena--with performances lined up shortly thereafter with such famed acts as Marc Broussard and Maroon 5. As of today, Sara Bareilles has more than proven herself to be a capable solo act, with three studio albums and Grammy nominations under her belt already, the young singer/songwriter's future in the music industry seems bright indeed.
