Joey & the Lips is an English funk band that was founded in 1994. Somewhat of a musical collective, the group oftentimes features a revolving cast of instrumentalists and singers. Performing a mixture of original material and well known cover tunes, the band has received praise for energetic performances. Not just a popular live act, Joey & the Lips has been releasing studio albums fairly regularly ever since dropping its debut album, Soul Fiction, in 1997.
