Formed in 1999, Cosmic Gate is an electronic music duo from Germany that's composed of Nic Chagall and DJ Bossi. Offering a progressive style of trance, the two-piece outfit released its debut album Rhythm & Drums, in 2001, collecting a fan base within the UK's sprawling electronic dance music scene. Over the years, Cosmic Gate has shifted into the more energetic realm of hard trance, particularly on its fifth LP, Wake Your Mind, which was released in 2011.
