Formed in central Switzerland, Bernhard is a five-piece that sings in the Swiss-German dialect, a language rarely spoken outside the country. Focusing on the storytelling nature of its music, the band primarily plays adult contemporary pop and soft/rock, often in the form of duets with female vocalists. After releasing its debut album in 2010, the band received considerable acclaim throughout its home country.
