Growing out of the town of Coventry, England, four-piece [dweeb] quickly built up a local fanbase, which eventually grew to encompass much of England's alternative rock-pop fans. With an penchant for fast-paced hooks and guitar-driven pop gems, the band has had no trouble winning over audiences and has garnered comparisons to the likes of Hot Hot Heat and Bloc Party. After grabbing the attention of the BBC, which asked [dweeb] to appear on its documentary Singing with the Enemy, where the band was paired with a punk band and the two were asked to bridge genre gaps to produce an album together, [dweeb] had secured its spot in indie fame and has since toured throughout the world.
