Andy Pate and Robert Dale from Jupiter, FL have built a reputation in the tech house music scene for creating high dance floor energy. Though the duo has been around since the early 2000s, 2011 was a turning point in RioTGeaR's mainstream popularity. In March of 2011, they played Ultra Music Festival for the eighth consecutive year, landing a set on the main stage. A month later, they snagged a hosting and producing gig for Ultra Music Festival's UMF Radio. The pair spent the summer of 2011 on tour, participating in the Road to Ultra Music Festival bus tour and Identity Festival.
