Simon Unwin

Born and raised in Manchester, Simon Unwin realized by the age of 15 that he wanted to be involved with the electronic music scene, specifically in its house offshoot. While still in school, he DJ-ed at night, spinning primarily at parties. Eventually the young DJ moved up the ranks and began playing clubs and bars, incorporating more diverse elements into his sets, like techno beats, soulful disco and grimey hip-hop. By the age of 20, Unwin decided he wanted to become more involved with the production side of music, took extensive course on the subject, moved to Liverpool and co-founded his own production company, which has helped in further diversifying Unwin’s DJ sets.
