Pescara, Italy's Giò Di Tonno has been playing piano since the age of 8. His performance of "Of The Drunkard's Voice" in the Festival di Sanremo in 1994 got him the attention of Cinevox Record, based in Rome. Tonno released his self-titled, debut album the same year to positive reviews from critics. In 2008, he returned to the Festival di Sanremo with Lola Ponce. Together they won the festival with their performance of "I Love," by Gianna Nannini. In 2011, Tonno released the single "Com’è Bello Aspettare," which demonstrates more of the catchy hooks that brought him to fame.
