The Louisiana Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. An NCAA Division I school, the university competes in the Sun Belt Conference. Out of the over a dozen athletic programs supported by Louisiana Lafayette, its most consistently successful is likely its women's softball program. The team is a regular winner of the Sun Belt Conference championship and has recorded a slew of appearances in the Women's College World Series. Other men's and women's programs sponsored by the university include baseball, basketball, cross country, football, soccer, volleyball and tennis.
