The Redhawk is the athletic moniker of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. The Redhawks encompass 18 varsity teams, including men's basketball, cross country, football and gold and women's field hockey, swimming and diving, volleyball and softball. The school is renowned for its football program, which dates back to 1888 and has a historic rivalry with the Cincinnati Bearcats. The heated rivalry is the longest running rivalry West of the Allegheny Mountains.
