San Diego-based outfit The Dragons is a rock and roll band that was originally active between 1991 and 2005. Playing a sound that combined garage pop and punk rock along with elements of glam, the band released a self-titled debut in 1992, before releasing a series of six more studio albums through the 1990s and 2000s. After its 2004 record Rock n Roll Kamikaze, The Dragons disbanded after 13 years of operating as a unit. The band reformed in 2010 after a reunion gig at San Diego's The Casbah in 2010.
