The UCLA Bruins represents the athletic programs and intercollegiate teams of the University of California, Los Angeles. As a member of the NCAA's Division I, the university competes in the Pacific-12 Conference, the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation and the Football Bowl Subdivision. UCLA has a long and celebrated athletic history that includes dozens of national titles in sports such as men's basketball, women's golf, men's tennis, men's volleyball and women's softball. Several Hall of Fame and superstar careers were launched at the university, including Troy Aikman (NFL), Bill Walton (NBA) and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (NBA). Other men's and women's sports sponsored by UCLA include football, water polo, baseball, cross country and soccer.
