The Colorado Buffaloes represent the athletic programs and teams of the University of Colorado, Boulder. The university currently competes in the NCAA Division I as a member of the Pacific-12 Conference and was ranked #14 by Sports Illustrated as the "Best Sports College" of 2002. The Buffaloes have won numerous national and conference championships since 1959 and established a hall of fame that has been updated annually since 1998. The University of Colorado has recently added women's lacrosse to the extensive list of varsity sports in which they currently participate.
