Barbara Carlotti is an indie pop singer/songwriter from France who got her start collaborating with musicians such as Bertrand Burgalat and Michel Delpech. After releasing Chansons with Burgalat in 2005, she switched focus to her solo career and released her album Les lys brisés, in 2006. Though the album was received fairly well, her breakthrough year came in 2008 when she released L'Idéal and appeared in the Francofolies de La Rochelle music festival. Carlotti's fourth studio album, L'amour, l'argent, le vent, was released in 2012 to critical acclaim.
