Lars Winnerbäck

Lars Winnerbäck has been quite a presence on the Swedish music scene since the late 1990s. He started as a vocalist in a punk band, then moved to a folk-influenced singer/ songwriter style, and eventually introduced some rock elements into his sound, which brought him enviable popularity. Lars sings exclusively in Swedish. His themes include societal prejudice, romantic relationships and life in the cities of Stockholm (where he was born) and Linköping (where he grew up).
