Starting out as a raw punk rock band in 1998, Forty Winks has evolved their sound into melodic, yet still aggressive, music. Not to be confused with the ska-punk band of the same name, or the instrumental hip-hop group 40 Winks, the Italian four-some is an indie-rock band whose 2002 debut album, To the Lonely Hearts, received local and international praise. After being signed with Wynona Records and touring Europe and Japan in the following year, the band's fan base has yet to stop growing. Forty Winks third album, BOW WOW, was released in 2011 and demonstrated further maturity through lead singer Sandro Amabili's consistent and memorable vocals.
