La Fouine is a French rapper from the suburbs of Paris. Heavily influenced by American rap, Laouni Mouhid quit school at the age of fifteen to devote himself to music and took on the alias La Fouine. He released his debut album in 2005 and has gained huge success in in the France and has become a prominent figure in French rap.
