When Particles Collide is an indie rock, guitar and drum duo from Bangor, Maine that infuses an obligatory touch of folk into an interestingly bizarre combination of 1990s indie rock and late -1970s pop punk/art rock. Although the combination might seem odd, When Particles Collide pulls it off with aplomb, in a surprisingly minimalist setting. Describing its sound as being like a "punk rock Bob Dylan," the duo is beginning to see an explosion of fans clamoring for its music throughout the Northeastern US and beyond.
