Endangered Speeches is an alternative hip-hop collective based in Boston that works to infuse its special brand of hip-hop with reggae and a traditional form of Greek music called "Rebetika." Led by Greek MC/composer/arranger/singer Mariletta Konstantara, Endangered Speeches has grown to include some of the brightest and most skilled hip-hop and reggae musicians from all over the world. Making music together since 2008, Endangered Speeches continues to be celebrated not only for its diverse musical and performance styles, but also for each of its members' drive to push the hip-hop genre forward into new territory.
