Billy Libby

Born and raised on the rocky coast of Portland, Maine, Billy Libby is a folk-rock singer/songwriter now based out of Brooklyn. At times upbeat and catchy, while at others reflective and melancholic, his music covers a wide range of emotions that are elevated by his versatile singing voice. On stage, Libby utilizes a backing band that fills the space with accompaniment on drums, stand-up bass and violin. While recording, however, he truly embraces the solo approach, often building drums tracks bit by bit and including pieces of accordion, circuit-bent keyboards and lap steel guitar.
