Both with his music and his performance style, Mark EG subscribes to an intense, in-your-face electronic sound that has made him an award-winning DJ in the hard dance genre. The UK-based artist grew up inspired by American house music and Belgian techno, eventually combining the two to great effect in the early 1990s. He would soon come into his own with a hard trance sound that pummels audiences with relentless bass pulses and driving, overblown synths. All the while, he thrashes along onstage with a hyperactive intensity that helps amplify the experience even more.
