Avalanche City

Avalanche City is a folk band from Auckland, New Zealand that originally began as the solo DIY project of band front man Dave Baxter in 2011. Baxter's debut album Our New Life Above The Ground proved that the musician had serious skills at producing a bona fide record on his own, however, he later decided to create a band to perform his music by inviting other musicians to work on his Avalanche City project. Little is known about how Avalanche City will fare as a band, but if Baxter's original solo project is any indication, its future looks bright indeed.
