Ballot of the Bands is a contest organized by Rotheram College's Roland Academy where bands from the Sheffield region battle it out for the grand prize, which include a globally distributed single release and a spot to perform at the Sheffield O2 Academy. Aimed at fostering music in education, the audience votes the best performer from a panoply of bands of all genres, crowning the hottest new talent.
