Wolf Eyes is an experimental noise rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan that makes avant-garde sound collages. Formed in 1996, Wolf Eyes takes inspiration from free jazz ideologies and applies them to harder, more menacing sounds from various genres including industrial, death metal and drone rock. Though the group has released an astonishing amount of material since its inception (nearly all recorded and put out through DIY means), Wolf Eyes is primarily known for its live shows, which feature the band performing sinister sounding sets, with songs oftentimes indistinguishable from one another.
