France's Joakim creates music that is a mysterious combination of electronica, indie rock, and indie pop. With is 2007 album, Monsters and Silly Songs, he further evolved his music by mixing post-punk and disco into his already very versatile sound. His fourth studio album, Nothing Gold, released in the summer of 2011, highlights Joakim's personal lyrics and obscure, heart wrenching and heart warming ballads.
