The Collingwood

The Collingwood describes themselves as "progressive," but let's get it right--these folks put the "prog" in "progressive." But they also add some interesting elements to the old style, like some female R&B vocals. The lead singer's voice is unique for sure--his style can be smooth or melodramatic, often in the same song. (A lot of the songs are at least five minutes, in classic prog form.) However the main portions of this meal are the complex reverbed guitar lines interwoven throughout the songs.
