As a band member or collaborator with groups such as The Fray, Flobots and Rose Hill Drive, Jimmy Stofer has enjoyed success on both the national and Denver, Colorado circuit before venturing out alone with his solo career. The results of his new project yielded the name Weather Maps and has served as a means of recording and releasing the singer/songwriter material Stofer has written over the years. His songs exist well within the cozy confines of indie folk, sometimes fleshed-out with help from fellow Denver-based musicians who contribute tasteful arrangements via drums, bass, banjo and backing vocals.
