Though The Sunshine House is still a recently minted band, it found its characteristic sound rather quickly and has already become a fixture on Colorado's music scene. The Fort Collins-based sextet specializes in quiet chamber folk, filled out with pretty strings and creative melodies. After the release of the band's debut EP, it was heralded by many Colorado publications, which helped the band gain widespread exposure and lands slots performing at various festivals.
