All originally from separate parts of the US, including Detroit, Santa Barbara and Omaha, the four members of The Yes We Cans eventually met one another after all relocating to Colorado, right at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. The band uses sharp and peppy guitar hooks to frame its radio-friendly spin on garage rock in a clean, glossy package that has resonated well with alternative rock fans throughout Colorado. The Yes We Cans formed in 2009 and released its debut EP, Better Days, in 2011.
