About
Formed in 2008 by Tyler Despres as a solo endeavor, Science Partner has since blossomed into a fleshed-out, six-piece indie rock project. As part of the newly formed lineup, two members of fellow Denver band Rocky Mountain News decided to join forces with Despres, disbanding their former group and focusing their efforts entirely on Science Partner. The result of the new talent helped add lush and creatively-arranged layers to Despres' songwriting, making the band an underground sensation throughout Colorado. Science Partner released its first set of material with the fully-formed new lineup in 2011.
