Safe Boating is No Accident is an indie folk-rock band formed by a collective of local musicians in and around the Denver, Colorado scene. The band established a bit of a following online thanks to popular youtube videos it posted of unique cover songs by the likes of Leadbelly and Danzig. Sometimes stripped-down to just vocals and a banjo ukulele, while other times fleshed-out to a more raucous full band affair, Safe Boating is No Accident picks and pulls from some of the best uniquely American genres, from bluegrass and Americana to rowdy folk and country, and mixes them together with a modern indie rock sound.
