Jolin Tsai (Traditional Chinese: 蔡依林) is a Taiwanese, Golden Melody Award-winning, Mandopop singer, dancer and actor. She began her career at the age of 18 when she won first place in an MTV singing competition. Following the release of her debut album 1019, she quickly became a teen idol. Tsai is widely recognized as a dance-pop star and is often referred to as the "Queen of C-Pop." With over a dozen albums to her credit, Tsai is also famed as a trend-setter thanks to her ever evolving style and personal image.
