Ideal Fathers

Often categorized as an aggressive post punk band, Denver-based four-piece Ideal Fathers meshes the heavy instrumentals and screamed vocals of hardcore punk with the more experimental qualities of post punk. Since forming in 2006, the band has caught the attention of several Colorado publications that have heralded Ideal Fathers as a group unafraid to create a new breed of punk. While the group has remained primarily unknown outside of its home state, Ideal Fathers continues to be a prominent presence on Denver's underground music scene.
