Denver-based post punk band Holophrase has no qualms with being experimental and no desire to sacrifice its experimental nature for accessibility. Thus, with this attitude the four-piece blends no-wave style guitars with blunt drumming and one-note vocals in some songs and in others just goes off on minimalist free-form tangents. While Holophrase might appeal to a select crowd, the group has been dubbed one of Denver's best experimental bands since forming in 2009.
