North London rapper Big Ben uses a jazz/funk production aesthetic and R&B style background vocals to complement his rhymes. He is a second generation refugee, and his rhymes frequently focus on unemployment and the struggles of the poor in the UK. Of course, he spits a few rhymes about how awesome he is, too. A stint in prison in 2006 seemed to fire up his rap game once he got out, and he's performed since then with greats like Ghostface Killah, Clipse, and Rahzel.
