Drumcorps is the metal breakcore solo project of Aaron Spectre, a well-known DJ and electronic music artist. A native of Massachusetts, he grew up involved in the hardcore scene, playing in bands whose music was inspired by Converge and Cave In. After moving to NYC, he was drawn to electronic music and started discovering genres like jungle, ambient and IDM. He shifted base to Germany in order to pursue music full-time, touring around the world and bringing his performances to large festivals as well as smaller parties. He released his debut album Grist in 2006. Six years later, he issued the EP Heartstrong, which was followed by the album Falling Forward in 2015. Spectre's most popular tracks include "Botch Up and Die," "Down," "Pig Destroyer Destroyer," "Forgive and Forget," "Grist" and "Saddest."
