While there are several DJs scattered throughout the world who perform under the moniker Dash, the Liverpool-based one seems to be winning the most amount of attention. After building a reputation for himself in his hometown’s underground electronic music scene, Dash caught the eye of several promoters who noted the flexible nature of his live sets, making him the ideal candidate for an opener to have on hand. This allowed Dash the opportunity to warm-up for greats like Simian Mobile Disco, Erol Alkan and Mark Ronson. His ability to seamlessly flow old school hip-hop into throbbing electro beats then sprinkle in undeniably funky disco has marked Dash as a DJ to watch out for since his first set in 2002. With several international DJ competition wins, Dash only continues to spread his name to venues across the globe.
