French pop singer Jeanne Mas signed her first contract with RCA Italia in 1979 and released several singles - in English and Italian - through it. Her first big hit came in 1984 in the form of the French single "Toute premiere fois." An instant success, the single sold over 900,000 copies and gained massive airplay on the radio. Her subsequent singles - "Johnny, Johnny" and "Coeur en stéréo-" and first album Jeanne Mas were also hits in their own right. Over the course of her career, Mas has released numerous other albums including Divas Wanted, Vol. 2, PH and LOVE. Her most popular tracks include "En rouge et noir," "Toute première fois" and "Sauvez moi."
